Chit Leung

Chit practised as a litigator in Hong Kong from 2016 to 2022 with a diversified practice that included complex commercial disputes, international arbitrations, and real estate, intellectual property, and judicial review cases. In addition, Chit assisted in updating Bullen & Leake & Jacob’s Precedents of Pleadings HK, 2nd Ed (Sweet & Maxwell) and served as a Marshall under a High Court judge.

Chit obtained his LLB from University of Hong Kong in 2015 and his LLM on conflicts of law from McGill University in 2024.

While writing his thesis, Chit held various positions, including Senior Researcher and Mentor for Professor Khoury in health law, Co-VP External of McGill International Business and the Trade Law Society (MIBTLS), Co-Editor of the GLSA Research Series, and case manager at a Montreal law firm. He was awarded the DEEP Award for Research Project at McGill.

Chit joined CP LLP as a summer student in 2023 and is now articling with a focus on commercial disputes resolution.
