Chit Leung

Chit has a diversified practice focused on commercial dispute resolution. He has assisted in a wide range of high-value or complex litigation, including contractual claims, real estate litigation, shareholder disputes, transportation and logistics disputes, and employment disputes.

Chit’s background and foreign litigation experience continue to benefit his current practice. He was a litigator in Hong Kong from 2016 to 2022. He also assisted in updating Bullen & Leake & Jacob’s Precedents of Pleadings HK, 2nd Ed (Sweet & Maxwell) and served as a Marshall under a High Court judge.

Chit obtained his LLM on conflicts of law from McGill University in 2024 and his LLB from University of Hong Kong in 2015. While writing his thesis at McGill, Chit held various positions, including Senior Researcher and Mentor for Professor Khoury in health law, Co-VP External of McGill International Business and the Trade Law Society (MIBTLS), Co-Editor of the GLSA Research Series, and case manager at a Montreal law firm. He was awarded the DEEP Award for Research Project at McGill.
