Michael Crampton

Michael is an associate in the litigation group. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and in private arbitrations. Michael practices in the areas of corporate, commercial and civil litigation, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, and secured financing and real estate litigation. Michael is known for his attention to detail, insightful analysis and prudent judgment. He applies those qualities when assisting clients in identifying their interests and navigating complex disputes.

Michael was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018. Before joining CP LLP, Michael completed his articles clerking at the Federal Court in Ottawa. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law in 2017 as the Law Society of Saskatchewan Silver Medalist and won other awards in company law, employment law and evidence law. While studying, Michael was a Managing Editor of the Saskatchewan Law Review and edited numerous articles on commercial law topics. Michael is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Toronto Lawyers Association and the Advocates’ Society.
